When Alyssa accidentally transports herself and her cousins to the Jamaican spell garden, they have to work out a way back home before the end of the summer holidays. But the magical garden is inexplicably hostile and they will need to win it over in order to grow the right ingredients for their spell. They must learn more about their ancestors and their connection to the ancient magic as well as persuading the garden's prickly guardian, Raheem, to help them. But when the very essence of the garden is threatened will their magic be enough to protect it?
