Inventory Considerations

Thank you for your interest in having your book stocked by Chepstow Books & Gifts.
This form is intended primarily for books by authors who live in Monmouthshire, The Forest of Dean and nearby areas. We're especially interested in books on local history, walking guides and natural history. However, we will consider books on any subject, fiction or nonfiction. 
Please do not drop off or send us copies of your book to Chepstow Books for inventory consideration. Due to numbers we can only make considerations through the form. Books mailed to or dropped off become the property of Chepstow Books and will NOT be returned.
To be eligible for consideration your book must:
  • Be bound, with clear and legible title and author information on the cover and the spine.
  • Have cover images of good quality.
  • Have a valid ISBN and barcode
  • Meet our sales terms: We require at least a 40% discount and free delivery; all books must be fully returnable.
Ideally we will source your book through our main distributors, Gardners and The Books Council of Wales.  Otherwise we will need to contact you for stock and will need clear invoices for record keeping.
You should expect to receive a response within a month.
