Product Description
The book will respond to a range of themes from our exhibition by commissioning twelve international designers to create an original plan for a 'Garden of the Future'. Each designer will take on a different garden type, addressing questions such as materials and sustainability, climate challenges and changing needs, in both private and public spaces. These specially commissioned garden plans will comprise 3-4 conceptual illustrations showing different perspectives, with a planting scheme or concept and 1000-word description of the ideas, trends and research that have influenced it. Additional photographs and sketches that have inspired the design, as well as informative contextual shots of designers 'earlier work will also feature and support the piece.
