Carragher played for Liverpool for 17 years, as the club's second longest serving player, he made an astonishing 737 appearances for the club. Carragher soon earned his reputation as a reliable team member, who was well-liked by all, serving as Liverpool's vice-captain for 10 years. Throughout his time at the club he became an established favourite amongst fans, who viewed him as one of the best defenders of his generation.
